1940s Plaid Two Piece Dress40s two piece in a lightweight cotton plaid. Top has button down front, nipped waist, short puffed sleeves and a ruffle trimmed yoke. Root beer buttons have spaghetti centers. Skirt is also yoked with pleats below and closes with a side hook and eye placket. Overall excellent condition; minor wear commensurate with age. There is a reinforced area at the base of the skirt placket, see photo. Otherwise I didn't note any obvious holes or stains. Fits
